One central goal for WE LEARN has always been to provide a web-based clearinghouse of women-centered literacy materials, curriculum resources, and research on women’s literacy. The audiences for these diverse materials include:
- Adult Basic education students & Literacy learners
- Teachers & educators
- University-based students and researchers/academics
- Community Supporters
WE LEARN finds that both students and teachers are hungry for easier-to-read materials that reflect women's experiences and social issues. These writings also invite discussion or offer strategies and solutions to improve women’s lives and conditions.
This section of the website provides a comprehensive portal to information about women-focused literacy materials, and women-centered basic literacy curriculum resources, research, and related educational tools.
We have organized this information to appeal to many audiences.
