“I’ve been a member of WE LEARN since the first conference (2005). I loved the idea of an organization centered on women’s literacy and social justice, and at the conference I found myself in a room full of interesting, intelligent women discussing subjects I cared deeply about ... and I knew that I would maintain my membership, and that I needed to be more involved. I've worked on the conference and Women’s Perspectives committees, presented workshops and facilitated panels at the annual conferences, and have served on the Board of Directors since 2007. I love being able to contribute to WE LEARN's work!”
